The Daily Routine...for now

It's been a little over a month since I moved to Arizona. The weather has been awesome. Warm without blistering heat. I haven't gotten a lot of chances to go out and explore the area yet, but I know I will soon. There are some things that have been a drag on my experience here though. The first being that I don't have a car yet. I traveled here by plane and brought along two suitcases and a backpack. The lack of a car has sucked. I want to go out and thrift around here to be honest. Also because I have had to use Lyft to get to job interviews. Yes, I don't have a job yet. Another reason why my experience here hasn't gotten off on the right foot yet. It's been a grind. Freshly graduated last Spring in 2018, I have been actively applying to places in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and as I mentioned in my last post, nothing hit (maybe for good reason). One job that I am pursuing now is a position at [deleted] I've had one interview there and they want to schedule me for another one soon. Not jumping to any conclusions, but fingers crossed!

My days so far have consisted of job application after job application. The scheduled routine goes like this: wake up, make myself breakfast, shower, and then get on my laptop to search job recruiting sites. Pretty astonishing, I know. One upside to this is that I do have a friend with me all day. I hang out with my sister's dog Caesar. He's a pug. A very cute pug. I've started to take him on walks around the neighborhood that I live in. Not a whole lot of people around during the day so I just throw in some headphones and pick up his shit. Two big ones today. It was a good day.

Other than job applications and dog poops, I just sit upstairs alone during the day. Unfortunately, I haven't made any friends here either. Once I get a job and get some more interaction with people here, friends should hopefully come. I'm not disappointed about this either. I'm a personable person. I know I'll meet people very soon.

I am currently listening to "Expectation" by Tame Impala. One of my favorite bands right now. I am really hoping Kevin Parker (the music producer for the whole band and lead singer) releases new music this year. I'm looking for new music suggestions all the time. If you have any artists that you're truly fond of or a song that is an absolute banger, leave a comment and I'll write my thoughts on it in my next post.
